I have been showing quite a few photos taken in the Munich Botanical Garden. Today I want to introduce the garden to you.

It is covering an area of 21.20 hectares (52.4 acres), and is situated in the suburb of Nymphenburg, close to Nymphenburg castle and the castle's park. It is really big and hosting approximately 19,600 species and subspecies.

Here is the website (in English)

Yesterday I wanted to check on "my" ;) gesneriads in Munich Botanical Garden. And the greenhouses are closed :o Part of them are under renovation and therefore the greenhouses will be probably closed until autumn.
